RNConvention!!


We left for the first Romance Novel Convention on Tuesday the 6th and my husband drove the 17 hours to Vegas. Yes he’s nuts for doing that but that is another story. So we arrived at The Golden Nugget around 12:30am and we checked in threw our stuff in our room and went to hang out on Fremont Street till about 2am.
 

 

Wednesday the 7th was the first official day of the convention and you know what that means right?? That means the kick-off party!! The party was a ton of fun with an Elvis Impersonator and wow did he do a Fantastic job! Then we had Julian Mora performing his Male Revue Act and Wow was that a sight to see! I think he had every women there amazed! That was one HOT act. *Fans self*

After the kick-off party we all got really comfy in our PJ’s and went to movie night and watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 days and then I went back to my room and crashed for the night! 
 

 

Thursday the 8th was filled with amazing classes and boy was it hard to pick from! Later that night we got to attend the most amazing costume ball/Wedding! It was a ton of fun to see everyone dressed up and dancing and just having a great time! Watch out us book people can party!!!

Friday the 9th was filled with yet another amazing day of classes! I have to say if you ever get a chance to take a self-defense class with Jimmy Do IT!!!  I was amazed at how much I learned in an hour and I think it is defiantly something everyone should learn!

Later that night I attended the first ever RONE` Awards hosted by InD’tale Magazine!  What a great event! I’m so happy for all of the authors who were nominated and the professional entertainers where great!  

 

Saturday the 10th was a pretty busy day with the book fair. I think I ended up coming home with 20 or more books just from the book fair alone! I loved getting to meet new authors to read and I am so excited to start their books! I also got to meet Lizzy Ford and D.T. Dyllin!!! *Fan girl moment* I have been I LOVE with Lizzy’s books for a long time! Lizzy’s books were the first books that got me started on my “Indie Author” addiction back when I bought my first e-reader a few years ago! Yes Lizzy it’s entirely your fault! LOL

I have been talking to the amazing D.T. Dyllin online for a while now, I reviewed her first book when it released and I have been a big fan ever since! I was so happy to finally meet her she is so sweet! 

All the books I bought from the book fair!! 


Later on that day after the book fair I went to the Suitor Strip Bingo! Oh yes you read that right Strip bingo! Again this wonderful group of guys had us women drooling and laughing! These guys where so just too funny! 

And last but not least was the Mr. Casanova Contest! This was great because we have been getting to know the guys pretty much all week and we got to find out a little more during the Q&A
