Water (Akasha #1) by Terra Harmony

                                                 Rating

All of the elemental powers are in the palm of her hand…and it won't be enough to save her. When Kaitlyn Alder is involuntarily introduced to a life of magic, she becomes part of an organization hell-bent on saving the Earth. Just as her new-found life holds promises of purpose, romance, and friendship, the organization divides and a rogue member holds Kaitlyn hostage. Now one of the most terrifying men the human race has to offer stands between her and Earth's survival.

 (My review)
First off this book is definitely 'adult only'. There is sexual content, some of it non-consensual. Just a heads up.

Water is defiantly an original. I love the message Terra Harmony is trying to send out about our environment, which we really need to take care of it before it’s all lost. Right away the book starts off with a lot going on.

Kaitlyn is a photographer she goes all around the world to photograph places. When she’s caught in an avalanche while snowboarding in the back country of Canada , She knows she will end up dying in the end because she told no one where she was going and well now she’s suck in a pile of snow. That’s when she realizes one of her hands is not as cold as the rest of her. She feels someone grab a hold of her hand as soon as she loses the battle to stay conscious.

When she wakes up she finds herself in a strange place. When Kaitlyn finds out she’s meant to help save the earth she really does not believe it. I mean if someone saved you and then kidnapped you what would you think crazy right? But when she finds out she’s really the cause of all these natural disasters (not so natural anymore) She then has to make a choice that will change her life forever will Kaitlyn Stay and learn to control the power she has or will she leave and risk killing people or maybe herself next time?  But when she finally makes a choice someone who works with The Seven kidnaps her and takes her off to an island and holds her captive. How do you escape an island that wants to kill you? When every time you move the earth shakes or the wind kicks up?
