I enjoyed reading this a lot, as I love my Highlander books!
Victoria Roberts did a wonderful job writing this. I loved seeing Declan and
Liadain grow throughout the book. Declan is a bit immature at first but he grows
into a wonderful sexy man! I had no trouble with keeping interest at all, once
I started there was so stopping me till I was finished and I’m really looking forward
to reading more by this author.
Declan is impossible to beat with the bow and is also what they
would call a rouge bedding pretty much any willing lady. Lady Liadain gives
Declan a run for his money, she’s stubborn, doesn’t listen to a thing he says
most of the time and yet she learns he may be the only one she can trust at
court. When danger surrounds them at everyone corner can they both make it out
alive or will one of be put to death for something they knew nothing about.
