 Book Description

A breathtaking new installment of the bestselling Shadow Falls series for young adults by rising star C. C. Hunter!

At a camp filled with vampires, werewolves, and fairies, Kylie Galen has always struggled to figure out what she is. Now she finally knows the truth—but she's left with more questions than answers. She doesn’t have a clue what her heritage means or how to harness her newfound powers. All she knows is that she needs to sort out her feelings for Derek, the sexy half-Fae who just confessed his love, and Lucas, her werewolf boyfriend who seems more committed to his pack than to their relationship. All the while, Kylie's dealing with a group of underground rogues who want her dead and a mysterious grandfather who makes it clear he doesn’t trust the FRU . . . or Shadow Falls. Soon Kylie will have to choose: Will she stay with the new family she’s formed at Shadow Falls, or will she leave with her grandfather and embrace her destiny?

Review

Addictive, Emotional and full of twists and turns

C.C. Hunter will leave you laughing, crying and yelling at this next installment in the Shadow Falls Series.

Kylie finally knows what she is but now she is left with a ton of questions and she has no clue how to control her new found power.  But that’s not the end of things she still has the underground rogues who want to see her dead and on top if that she must choose who she wants to be with Sexy werewolf Lucas or the half fae Derek who confessed his love to her? With all these challenges she must face she also has the FRU on her back. With her grandfather not trusting the FRU or Shadow Falls Kylie will have to choose what she wants to do stay or go with her grandfather and learn from him and others like her.

I love how Kylie grows and changes with each book, I think she has finally realized what she must do to embrace her destiny. I Laughed, I cried a few times and I even yelled at the book. (I mean really yelled at it and gave a certain person a piece of my mind) there were so many emotions going through me at the end of Whispers at Moonrise. I can’t wait to read the last book but I’m also sad to see it end at the same time. This has to be my favorite book in the series so far.

I’m a part of the Shadow Falls Street Team, and I was given this ARC courtesy of CC Hunter and St. Martin's Griffin. Thank you Both!

Author Bio

C.C. Hunter grew up in Alabama, where she caught lightning bugs, ran barefoot, and regularly rescued potential princes, in the form of Alabama bullfrogs, from her brothers. Today, she's still fascinated with lightning bugs, mostly wears shoes, but has turned her focus to rescuing mammals. She now lives in Texas with her four rescued cats, one dog, and a prince of a husband, who for the record, is so not a frog. When she's not writing, she's reading, spending time with her family, or is shooting things-with a camera, not a gun.
C.C. Hunter is a pseudonym. Her real name is Christie Craig and she also writes humorous romantic suspense romance novels for Grand Central. www.christie-craig.com
