Book Description
A proper young lady should
never attend a Masque...Aphrodite is no lady.
Betrothal to the callous
Lord Blackhall painted a future devoid of love. Upon his death, Lady Caroline
Wilmont is promised to the younger brother. Caroline refuses to allow her first
taste of desire to be at the hands of a man who would rather have any woman but
her. This, her last night of freedom, is to be a memory of lust that she can
take with her throughout her loveless marriage. As Aphrodite, Caroline attends
a masque determined to find a man to initiate her into the intimacies of erotic
love.
Taran Robertson, Viscount of
Blackhall, makes no secret that he despises his obligation to marry the
Sassenach heiress chosen for him by his father. As a last foray before his
wedding, he attends a masque. However, the spirited vixen he meets and seduces
has secrets...secrets that just may reveal he’s to have an improper wife.
Review
I loved Caroline she is a
bit of a rebel, she was Betrothed to the callous Lord Blackhall until he died
and then was promised to the younger brother. Caroline refuses to let a man who
would rather have any other women but her be her first, so she sneaks off to a masque
determined to find a man. She finds one alright! Lost in the garden maze she runs in to this Hot
sexy man dressed in a kilt.. Well I’m pretty sure you can picture what happens
next *Wink Wink* with a night of passion either one of them will forget.
After that night they both
cannot stop thinking about one another, but they both know they have a job to
do he must merry and so must she.
Caroline is hiding a secret
from her soon to be husband but so is he. With all the secrets and finding out
maybe her father’s death was not an accident she will have to tell her husband
and find out what happened to her father before they both catch up with her..
I love books set in this
point in time and you can never ever go wrong with a sexy man in a kilt! I
loved the passion and action in this book, also the Characters and over all
plot that will leave you laughing at time the way those to go back and forth.
This book is defiantly one I will read over and over again.
